OUR SERVICES
Aria Behavior clinic provides Applied Behavior analysis (ABA) services to the clients. ABA is an evidence-based approach and is backed by decades of research to treating individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), neurodevelopmental disorders, developmental delays, or intellectual disabilities. ABA aims to increase a child’s skills for independent living while decreasing challenging behaviors.
Aria Behavior Clinic goal is to reduce behavioral problems and skill deficits associated with autism spectrum disorders, while increasing independence, daily living, functional, social and communicative skills. We seek to improve the quality of life of our clients and their families while emphasizing the generalization of skills.
Each client is assigned a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who completes a Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA), develops a comprehensive Autism treatment program and provides ongoing supervision and oversight on each case
Intake
Our services begin after the intake with one of our professional clinical supervisors. This is a time where families are able to discuss primary areas of concern and determine if ABA can meet their needs.
Assessment
The next step is to assess your child's skill level, or challenging behavior, which is necessary to guide the development of an individualized Autism treatment plan. The assessment will be conducted by a licensed Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), and will include the use of various assessment tools. Typically, assessments are conducted in the home setting.
Therapy
Through assessment in everyday situations, behaviors are targeted and a treatment plan is developed. Throughout the treatment, data is recovered and analyzed in order to show progress of meaningful change and to evaluate, modify, and refine treatment for the most socially significant outcomes.
